Distributed Energy Systems: Evolving from Power Generation to Efficient Energy Utilization
Distributed energy systems refers to a localized energy model that generates electricity using local resources such as solar, wind, or gas turbines, enabling "production for immediate use" and reducing losses from long-distance transmission. Its primary purpose is to satisfy local electricity demand while recovering waste heat generated during power production. Typically, by integrating lithium bromide absorption chillers, the system recovers waste heat from power generation to form a CCHP system. This integrated approach enables the simultaneous supply of cooling, heating and power, significantly improving overall energy efficiency and reducing energy waste.
Efficiently converting waste heat from power generation into stable and reliable cooling or heating is a key step in enhancing comprehensive energy utilization. This is precisely the technological field that Hope Deepblue has long focused on and deeply cultivated. For example, the exhaust LiBr absorption chiller directly utilizes exhaust from power generation equipment as its driving heat source, greatly reducing system operating costs. When power generation load decreases and exhaust heat becomes insufficient, an exhaust LiBr absorption chiller with natural gas as back up can be employed. This type of unit includes a burner, automatically ignites to combust natural gas, kerosene, or other fuels when waste heat is inadequate to ensure stable energy supply. Additionally, when the customer’s site has abundant and economical gas resources, the direct fired LiBr absorption chiller offers a more direct and efficient solution. Powered by natural gas or other fuels, it ensures stable energy supply when waste heat is insufficient and operates synergistically with the power generation system to achieve flexible energy allocation and complementary utilization.
By providing a range of units including waste heat recovery, exhaust utilization, as well as direct combustion of fuel technologies, Hope Deepblue can flexibly adapt to various Distributed Energy Systems scenarios, helping customers establish truly efficient, reliable, and economical regional smart energy centers.
