High-temperature test of Hope Deepblue A/C insulation material
Recently, the Hope Deepblue technical department launched a test on the high temperature resistance of the insulation material. The test was conducted on EPDM rubber, EPDM insulation material with Taylor and Armacell adhesive used in high temperature 130 ℃ resistance.
EPDM insulation can normally be used for a long period of time in environments ranging from -40°C to 120°C, and can withstand temperatures of about 150°C for a short period of time. The high heat insulation material of the unit may reach 130℃, if the heat insulation material and glue can not withstand it for a long time, there may be problems such as bulging, aging of glue and not sticking firmly, which will further lead to the reduction of heat insulation effect of the unit, increase energy consumption of the unit, and shorten the service life of the material, requiring more frequent replacement and maintenance. Moreover, high temperature aging of insulation material may release combustible gas, which is a potential fire hazard. Therefore, high temperature resistance test of insulation materials is an important support to ensure stable, efficient and safe operation of the unit.
Considering the high cost of maintenance and delivery of overseas units, the simulation test was conducted firstly for the conditions of overseas units. After several days of testing, it was found that the EPDM panels with EPDM rubber could meet the usage requirements below 130℃ under the conditions of applying Armacell glue and Taylor's glue respectively, and there was no large-scale bulging, obvious deformation, odor, etc. The test demonstrated that the technical department was able to meet the requirements for the use of EPDM panels with EPDM rubber, and that the EPDM panels could meet the requirements for the use of EPDM panels with EPDM rubber.
Through this test, it shows the rigorous attitude of the Hope Deepblue technical department towards the safe and reliable operation of the unit, and at the same time, by comparing the performance differences of different materials under high temperature conditions, it explores the cost optimization path while guaranteeing the performance, and improves the competitiveness of Deepblue’s products. With the continuous and in-depth analysis of this kind of test and experience, it will provide more solid technical support for improving the performance of the unit and enhancing the competitiveness of the product.
