Hope Deepblue Hosts Southwest Petroleum University Visit
On August 14, nearly 100 faculty members and students from the School of Civil Engineering and Geomatics at Southwest Petroleum University, majoring in Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, visited Hope Deepblue Air Conditioning Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for an in-depth internship and study tour. The event not only offered students a valuable opportunity to bridge theory with practice, but also strengthened collaboration between Hope Deepblue and leading academic institutions in the fields of talent cultivation and industry–academia–research integration.
The program began with an introductory session, during which representatives presented an overview of Continental Hope Group and Hope Deepblue Air Conditioning Co., Ltd., covering the company’s history, organizational structure, core businesses, and global footprint. As a leading manufacturer of lithium bromide absorption chillers and heat pump systems in Western China, Hope Deepblue has consistently dedicated itself to providing high-efficiency, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly air conditioning and refrigeration solutions, earning a strong reputation in both domestic and international markets.
Following this, engineers from the Technology Department delivered a comprehensive presentation on the working principles of lithium bromide absorption chillers, complemented by real-world case studies. They introduced the company’s major product lines—including direct-fired, hot water, steam, and double-effect chillers—and highlighted their advantages in terms of high energy efficiency, low noise, environmental sustainability, and operational reliability. The presentation also showcased the extensive application of Hope Deepblue solutions in district cooling and heating, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, data centers, and public buildings. The engaging content captured the students’ interest, prompting active participation, note-taking, and lively discussion.
The group then toured the Product Testing Center and Finished Goods Warehouse, guided by technical experts. On-site demonstrations, focusing on the design, operating processes, and performance characteristics of lithium bromide chillers, enabled students to integrate classroom learning with real-world equipment, deepening their understanding of absorption refrigeration technology and its industrial relevance.
The visit concluded with a plaque presentation ceremony, during which Southwest Petroleum University awarded Hope Deepblue the title of “Industry–Academia–Research Cooperation Base.” This recognition reflects the university’s strong confidence in the company’s R&D capabilities and industry position, while marking a significant step forward in collaborative development. Looking ahead, both parties will leverage this partnership to enhance cooperation in talent training, technological innovation, and research initiatives, jointly contributing to the advancement of building environment and energy application engineering.
The internship and study program concluded successfully, providing students with valuable practical insights while laying a solid foundation for deeper collaboration between Hope Deepblue and leading universities. Guided by the philosophy of “Green, Energy-Saving, Innovation-Driven Development,” Hope Deepblue will continue to strengthen its R&D and service capabilities, actively promote the application of lithium bromide absorption chiller technology, and make greater contributions to the sustainable growth of the industry.
