General introduction
Wuhan Pingmei Wugang Joint Coking Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. and Pingdingshan Coal (Group) Co., LTD. Joint Coking Company is a largely modern coal chemical enterprise producing metallurgical coke and a variety of chemical products. Built and put into operation in 1958, it provides metallurgical coke and coke oven purification gas for the post-process of steel-making, recovers and refines chemical products from waste coke oven gas. At present, the company has 11 modern large coke ovens and complete coal preparation, coking, gas purification and chemical product recovery, refining production systems. With an annual output of 6.9 million tons of coke and over 300,000 tons of chemical products, the company ranks first in China.
