Steel Mill Maintenance Project Successfully Completed
To optimize the living environment in the employee residential area and address the need for heatstroke prevention and cooling measures during the summer, Deepblue recently successfully completed the smart upgrade project for three LiBr absorption units in the Hanzhong Steel employee residential area. Currently, all units have passed commissioning tests and are officially in operation, effectively meeting the summer cooling needs of employees on the plant premises.
The LiBr absorption units upgraded in this project constitute the core cooling infrastructure of the Hanzhong Steel residential area and have long provided cooling services to employee housing. Due to factors such as continuous year-round operation, equipment aging, pipe scaling, and system parameter deviations, the units had previously suffered from issues including high outlet water temperatures, poor cooling performance, and unstable operation. These problems made it difficult to meet employees’ comfort needs during the summer heat, making this a critical issue that required urgent resolution for the plant’s support services.
To complete the maintenance and upgrade tasks with high quality and efficiency, our company strictly enforced safety management regulations for hazardous operations and rigorously implemented full-process operational standards, including construction reporting, special approvals, and on-site supervision. Throughout the project, our team routinely conducted safety, quality, and progress inspections, closely monitoring critical processes such as equipment disassembly, piping cleaning, system calibration, and smart system upgrades. We promptly addressed construction challenges, strictly controlled construction techniques, comprehensively mitigated safety and quality risks, and ensured the project’s orderly progress.
During the acceptance phase, Deepblue strictly adhered to industry regulations and the client’s service standards, conducting comprehensive verification of core indicators such as unit discharge water temperature, vacuum level, operational stability, and smart control accuracy. We systematically identified and addressed potential equipment hazards item by item to ensure that all processes met compliance standards, equipment performance was fully restored and optimized, the original refrigeration shortcomings were completely resolved, and the long-term stable operation of the units was guaranteed.
